Brief pause in programs August 7-Sept 8

  Judy Center staff participates in the beginning of the year trainings and establishing routines in the school building. Although our programs pause from August 7-September 8th, we are still here for you! reach out as needed.

New Play groups begin Sept 15!

*NEW Tuesdays Toddler Time10:30-11:30, Ages 1–3, Toddlers and caregivers enjoy a gently structured play group with stories, songs, movement, and social time. While this is a large age span, the playgroups are designed around The Maryland Early Learning Standards with wiggle room to adjust to the developmental level of the children who come to play.(siblings welcome)ur upcoming events

*NEW Wednesdays Preschool Pals10-11, Geared towards ages 3–5,  this group experiences a slightly more structured class that  develops school readiness skills through songs, stories, movement, and social interaction. These playgroups are designed to address The Maryland Early Learning Standards related to: Social/Emotional, Language and Literacy, Math, Science and other pre-academic skills. (siblings welcome)
 

Family Advisory Comitee

  • We are working to form our Family Advisory Committee for this year at the Judy Center. We will hold 3 meetings total throughout the year. Please complete this link  if you are interested.  As a member of this committee you will help  provide input on Judy Center programming and work with Judy Center staff to develop new ideas to reach families, provide feedback related to Judy Center outreach, advocate for the families who are part of the Judy Center assist in identifying families with young children or pregnant moms, attend three 1-hour meetings a year at the Judy Center (Lunch and child care will be offered)

Inclement Weather Reminders

In the case of inclement weather closures or delays for HCPSS, all Judy Center activities will be canceled for that day.
